The Quality of Our Music Is Declining – Appietus

When it comes to sound production/engineering, Appiah Dankwah popularly known as Appietus is one of the best in the business and has worked with quite a number of well known artistes.

However, he has not been impressed with the quality of music being produced lately and has asked sound engineers to take their time to work on their productions.

“We used to have very great productions some years ago but what I am hearing lately is nothing to write home about. It looks like music producers are in a hurry to just make money and are not paying attention to all the elements that make a quality song.”

“When I listen to songs such as Odo Nnwom which I did for Kofi Nti and Otoolege for Ofori Amponsah, I realise, I’m not hearing such quality productions these days. We are supposed to move forward and not backward, so I am telling every music producer to be up and doing,” he told Graphic Showbiz recently.

Appietus added that the reason Nigerians seem to be ahead of us is the fact that their music productions are solid.

“When it comes to singing or rapping we have some of the finest musicians but our sound engineers need to up their game,” he said.

As part of his contribution to help make things right, Appietus is starting a Masterclass in sound engineering from Monday, June 21, and has extended an invitation to persons who have the desire to learn all about sound engineering to come over to his studios at Dansoman.

John Mahama’s Reckless PPAs Decision Cost Ghana $ 134m Judgement Debt.

According to Appietus, it will be a one on one session with participants.

“I was motivated to do this based on the production I am hearing lately. They cannot compete on the international market and as an award-winning producer I cannot just sit and do nothing about but help in the little way I can.”

“I will be teaching topics such as Mastering, Mixing, Voice Recording, and everything any individual wants to know about sound engineering at an affordable price,” he stated.

Appietus is behind popular tunes such as Tokrom by Daddy Lumba, Otoolege and Emmanuella by Ofori Amponsah, Aso by Kwabena Kwabena, Faithful and Mr. Versatile by Okyeame Kwame and many others.

There’s a spirit pushing Shatta Wale’s songs’ – Eagle Prophet

Rev. Randolph Oduro Gyebi popularly known as Eagle Prophet has disclosed that there’s a spirit behind Shatta Wale’s career.

According to the man of God, the dancehall act is spiritually strong and as such, no human being can succeed in thwarting his career. Speaking on Angel FM’s Entertainment show Eagle Prophet said Shatta Wale wasn’t strong spiritually when he was Bandana.

“Shatta Wale after changing his name from Bandana is now strong in the spiritual realm and it will be difficult for someone or any artiste to bury his career,” he said.

He continued that “Shatta was producing better songs when he was Bandana but they never became hits and never had a hit song because he wasn’t spiritually strong at that time”.

“Now all Shatta Wale songs are hit because he is spiritually strong and there is a certain spirit pushing his songs to make them hit,” the controversial prophet added.

In related news, Eagle Prophet made headlines recently after he revealed a prophecy about Akuapem Poloo.

In a video seen pulse.com.gh, the man of God who is the General Overseer and Founder of God’s Crown Chapel, has said that “we have to pray to pray for Akuapem Poloo … I have seen her dead in pool blood, they are people planning to rape her”.

Detailing the prophecy, he continued that “they will rape her and she will die, there are a group of people, they are more than 12 guys, they will rape her and kill her, she was in a pool of blood”.

The Ghanaian actress has however responded to his prophecy. Akuapem Poloo in a video shared on her Instagram page, said “I just saw a video of a pastor who said God has revealed to him that this and this will happen to me”.

According to the actress, she is rather grateful to the Prophet for revealing this prophecy because the bible says God reveals to redeem. ” I will like to say a big thank you to him for letting me know this, God bless him so much because I wouldn’t have known”.

She continued that ” what I want to say is that the God I serve, the living God, who always save me from the evil ones will save me. Because it is written in the bible that, that when God reveals, it means He has cancelled it, God will not let me be disgraced”.

I Don’t Believe In God; Musician, Barima Sidney Reveals

Published

on

Speaking to TV XYZ, Barima Sidney said that he is not a Christian and does not believe in God but in Jesus, the acclaimed son of God.

“I’m a believer not Christian, I’m a true believer of Christ, everyone can be a Christian cos everyone goes to church, a believer is the one with the Holy Spirit. I don’t mention God I mention Christ Jesus … me I don’t use God the G.O.D no no I use Christ Jesus, he is my lord and personal savior that’s it “

Explaining why he doesn’t believe in God who’s the father but his son instead, He said;

“Which father? You see it’s the same Jesus Christ . Are you telling me that if you enter heaven now you will see three chairs , your God on one of the chairs then your Jesus and Holy Spirit ? Is that how you picturing heaven to be? It’s just one seat and it’s Christ Jesus who sits on it and he’s the Holy Spirit over there now … He manifest himself everytime.. first he used to deal with us directly as the father then he realized that it won’t help so he had to come as flesh .. nipa.. he came to have a feel of our flesh and to tell us all we need to know, after he left and asked the spirit to stay with us, it’s like an egg it’s one but has various parts .. They say God the father son and Holy Spirit but God in 3 person .. so he’s one

I pick Jesus rather than God because the Bible has made me understand that no one comes to the father except through Jesus, if you don’t believe in Jesus everything is waste . Has any one called on God during an accident it’s Jesus we all mention.. so why do i waste time mentioning God God God is Jesus Christ”.
