Ghanaians advised to postpone non-essential trips to Asia and South America

Ghanaians who may have plans to leave the country for Asia and South America have been advised to either consider cancelling  or making it on another date.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration in collaboration with the Ghana Health Service (GHS) have urged the public to either cancel or postpone non-essential trips to countries with exceedingly high infection rate of the coronavirus disease.

This follows the alarming rate of infections of covid-19 in some parts of the world, especially in Asia and South America.

The two institutions stated that should there be a need for any Ghanaian to travel, they must strictly adhere to all the safety protocols.

For all those traveling in and out of the country, the Ministry said in a statement that only test results or certificates bearing trusted travel or biomars codes will be considered valid for travel out of Ghana.
